Senior Human Resources Consultant
Ron is a retired Colonel from the Army National Guard. He started his military career in the New York Army National Guard in August 1964. In September 1965 he became an Administrative Supply Technician and served as an enlisted man for three years before graduating from the Empire State Military Academy as a Second Lieutenant. During his tenure as a military technician with the 42d Infantry Division Artillery he served as an Administrative Supply Technician, Training Technician, and Administrative Officer at Battalion and Division Artillery Level. Ron also served as instructor, tactical officer, and commander for the Empire State Military Academy, Officer Candidate Program.
In August 1982, Ron was assigned to the Manpower Division, Army National Guard, National Guard Bureau. In April, 1988 he served as the Executive Officer for the Director, Army National Guard, and in 1990 was assigned as a Senior Service Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Washington, D.C., where he concentrated his studies on the use of the National Guard for nation assistance in sub-Saharan Africa.
Upon graduating from Senior Service College Ron was assigned as the Full-time support Division Chief, National Guard Bureau. In 1993 he was appointed as Chief, Human Resource Officer, National Guard Bureau, Army National Guard. He held that position until his retirement from military service, January 2000.
In February, 2000 Ron became the Senior Human Resource Consultant for Military Personnel Services Corporation, Falls Church Virginia.
His civilian education includes a Masters in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business.
