John (Jack) L. Jones
President

Jack is a retired Brigadier General from the New York Army National Guard. He started his military career in 1957 as a Private in the lst Battalion 106th Infantry, 42d Infantry Division. In 1965 Sergeant Jones attended Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning Georgia, and upon completion was commissioned a Second Lieutenant. He returned to the 106th Infantry where he served as a platoon leader and company commander of Company C, 2nd Battalion 106th Infantry. Concurrent with his assignment in the 2d Battalion 106th Infantry, for thirteen years he served as an Instructor, Staff Officer, Executive Officer, and Commander, at the Empire State Military Academy.

In 1967 Mr. Jones (then CPT) was assigned as the Adjutant of the 101st Calvary Squadron in Staten Island. In 1971, he was assigned to the Second Brigade, 42d Infantry Division as the assistant training and operations officer. He subsequently was promoted to Major and assigned as the training and operations officer of the lst Battalion 107th Infantry in 1977, and in 1980 returned to the Second Brigade Headquarters as the Brigade Operations and Training Officer.

In 1984, he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and reassigned as the Training and Operations Officer for the 42d Infantry Division. In 1986, he returned to the Second Brigade as Executive Officer and following a short tour with the Brigade was re-assigned to the 42d Infantry Division where he was promoted to Colonel and appointed as Division Chief of Staff.

In 1989 Colonel Jones was appointed Commander, Second Brigade, 42d Infantry Division. In 1993 Colonel Jones became the Deputy Director of the Challenge Program, Camp Smith, New York. On February 1, 1994, he was assigned as Commander of the Camp Smith Training Site, and on June, lst, 1994 he was promoted to Brigadier General and appointed as the Assistant Adjutant General, Headquarters, New York Army National Guard. On February 23rd 1998 Brigadier General Jones retired from military service.

He is a graduate of the State University of New York and the Army Command and Staff College.

Upon his retirement Brigadier General (Ret) Jones founded Military Personnel Services Corporation, an organization devoted to providing quality consultants and superior professional services.
